The Kitchen Stadium has been rocked by a spicy wind, as a new Iron Chef strides into the arena. Rhanda Regent-san, Iron South, has joined us to fling down the sequined gauntlet in a resounding challenge to Iron English. Will he be able to defeat the young upstart?

The theme ingredient has been unveiled: it shall be Battle Cheese. Let the two newest Iron Chefs duel it out on the grounds of the Virtual Kitchen Stadium. We await your missives!

Virtual Iron Chef Judging

Have you always wanted to be a judge on Iron Chef? While this web site cannot turn you into a famous Japanese actor, sumo wrestler or food critic, it can give you the vicarious experience of being an Iron Chef judge.

How to be a Virtual Iron Chef Judge: Read the current entries of the Iron Chef and the Challenger. Anybody can be an Virtual Iron Chef - there are plenty of empty slots, like "Iron Polish", "Iron Spanish" and even "Iron Cajun". If two cooks contest for a title, they must battle it off in the virtual kitchen stadium.

After you have finished "tasting" the virtual cooking, you can score the dishes presented based on the following criteria.

Rate the Iron Chef Challenger
  1. True Iron Chef Style - Is it original? Is it campy? Most of all, is it "Iron Chef"? 5 points:

  2. Taste - When you imagine eating and enjoying these dishes, do they sound delicious? Are you drooling while imagining these mouthwatering delicacies? 5 points:

  3. Writing - Was the entry well written and clever? Were the descriptions vivid? Include cute extras like chef bios, costume descriptions and outrageously campy bragging about esoteric ingredients. 5 points:

  4. Feasibility - Did the writeup convince you that the chef could actually execute these maneuvers in a kitchen? Were some vague cooking directions included? 5 points:
